Broadcast & Live Events

The production half of how I work: a broadcast and live-events generalist who can take a position anywhere on a multi-camera show. I work as a broadcast technician with Gear Guys — most often shading, riding camera iris and colour from the CCU so every camera in a live cut matches — at venues like Tivoli's Congrescenter and at festivals.

Alongside that I've run the full live-TV chain at Christiania TV: studio camera in a live setup, field reporter-photography, the editorial desk, and producing a standalone programme from idea to transmission.

Shading (CCU): matching exposure and colour across cameras in real time so the cut looks like one camera, not six. Camera: live multi-cam studio and ENG-style field shooting. Producing: coordinating with the vision mixer and desk through to air. Live leaves no room for a second take — the same discipline that carries straight into deploying tools on a real set.
